Science has shown that a relatively simple process called High Pressure Pasteurization (HPP) is the most effective way to eliminate dangerous foodborne pathogens such as listeria from sliced deli meats. In 2005, Hormel Foods made a significant investment in High Pressure Pasteurization equipment and installed this equipment at our own facility.

We call our proprietary pasteurization technology TrueTaste™ Technology.
